At Transcend The Trend, our creative workshops offer transformative experiences that inspire self-expression, emotional wellness, and innovative thinking.  Designed for people of all ages, we have worked with educators, business professionals, and community members alike, using the arts as a tool for healing, empowerment, and professional growth.

• Paint From The Heart – An intuitive painting workshop that encourages self-expression, emotional release, and creative flow without judgment or expectation.
• Affirmation Art – A therapeutic creative arts experience where participants create personalized canvases with affirmations, using affirmation cards as a guide for reflection and healing.
• Workshops for Educators & Business Professionals – Engaging sessions that explore flexible thinking, creativity, and problem-solving, helping participants integrate the arts into leadership, team-building, and educational practices.

At Transcend The Trend, our youth programs provide transformative creative experiences that foster self-expression, social justice awareness, and community connection.

• Dr. King Social Justice and Arts Academy (2021 Pilot Program) – A groundbreaking initiative integrating arts and activism, empowering youth to use creativity as a tool for change.
• Open Studios at Westhill High School – A dynamic space for students to explore their artistic voice, collaborate, and develop their creative skills.
• Amplify The Arts Youth Art Exhibition – Showcasing the talent and perspectives of young artists while celebrating the power of creative expression in community spaces.
• Rebel Vision Art Space – A digital platform highlighting youth and local artists, providing visibility and recognition for emerging creative voices.
• Hamden Summer Arts Programs (2025, Location TBD) – Offering immersive arts experiences to inspire and engage youth during the summer months.
• In partnership with RF Youth Boxing, this initiative promotes mental resilience through boxing, mindfulness, and creative expression. By integrating movement, art, and conversation, we help youth develop confidence, discipline, and emotional well-being. Learn more 

Our partnership with Amplify The Arts Festival includes a brand new initiative: The Amplify The Arts Collective.  ATA Collective is a dedicated group of local artists that partner with us on our mission. They are also members of our board of advisors. We are working to create a permanent space for a multi-dimensioanl creative arts hub in Hamden. Details coming soon!
