    Transcend The Trend (TTT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing creative arts, educational equity, and community empowerment. Through dynamic programs, mentorship, and innovative arts initiatives, we provide youth and individuals of all ages with opportunities for self-expression, career development, and personal growth.

    Yes, we offer a variety of virtual events, including online exhibitions, performances, artist panel discussions, and workshops. 

    TTT programs are open to youth and community members of all ages, with a focus on serving historically disadvantaged populations in Hamden, New Haven, West Haven, and surrounding areas. We strive to create inclusive, accessible spaces for all individuals, regardless of their background or experience level.

     At Transcend The Trend (TTT), we believe in the power of collaboration to amplify impact. Our work in advancing equity in and through the arts, youth and community empowerment, and cultivating creativity and connection, is strengthened through strategic partnerships with organizations that share our commitment. One of our 2025 strategic goals is to increase the scope of our work through additional partnerships. If you or your organization may be interested in partnering together please send an email of introduction to transcendthetrendinc@gmail.com We are currently working with RF Youth Boxing in Stamford, CT, The Town of Hamden, CT, Stamford Public Schools, New Haven Public Schools, Hamden Public Schools, Westhill High School and more. 

    You can make a donation to Transcend The Trend online through our website on our giving page, or by mailing a check to our office. Your support helps us continue to promote the arts in our community.

     

    Potential candidates may be identified through:

    • Nominations by current board members, staff, or community partners.
    • Applications submitted by individuals expressing interest.
    • Outreach to professionals, educators, artists, and leaders who align with our mission.
    • Board Fellowships for emerging leaders seeking nonprofit governance experience.
    • A formal board approval process
